DR 1.0 EV

Italian automaker DR Automobiles’s smallest model is the DR 1.0. Designed primarily for urban driving, the compact four-seat EV combines affordable pricing with a practical layout and a driving range that is more than sufficient for everyday city use.

Measuring 3,200 mm in length, 1,550 mm in width, and 1,670 mm in height, the DR 1.0 is even smaller than the Smart ForFour while still accommodating up to four passengers. Luggage space is limited to 110 liters, making it suitable for groceries or small everyday items.

The exterior features large headlights, a black front grille with the DR badge positioned on the left side, and a steeply sloped hood that emphasizes the car’s compact proportions.

From the side, the DR 1.0 is equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels, oversized doors for easier access to the cabin, and a contrasting black floating roof. At the rear, it features compact LED taillights, a large tailgate, a plastic rear bumper, and a small roof spoiler above the rear window.

Inside, the DR 1.0 comes with a 9.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 3.5-inch digital instrument cluster, a wireless smartphone charging pad, sport front seats, and rear parking sensors with a reversing camera to make maneuvering easier.

Power comes from a 45 kW (61 hp) electric motor paired with a 31 kWh lithium-ion battery. The manufacturer claims a driving range of up to 210 km on the combined cycle and as much as 294 km in urban driving. Standard equipment includes a 6.6 kW onboard charger, while DC fast charging is supported at up to 40 kW.
