Wuling Mini EV Cabio

The Wuling Mini EV Cabio Concept, presented in April, has turned into a mass-production model “for young people” and has been certified by MIIT to enter the PRC market in 2022. The Cabrio is based on a new version of hatchback, so it develops not 20, but 30 kW (41 hp). The maximum speed is 100 km/h. The expected range with a 26.7 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery is about 300 km (NEDC).

Dimensions are slightly different from the original hatchback: length – 3059 mm (-2 mm), width – 1521 mm (+1 mm), height – 1614 mm (-45 mm), wheelbase – 2010 mm. The curb weight has increased to 925 kg (+103 kg).

If the design of the front end is close to the concept, the rear part looks different. They say that a soft top is hidden at the back, which should be folded out by hand. The prices for the convertible version are likely to be higher than the current 28,800-48,600 yuan ($4,500-7,600).
