Autocykl

The Autocykl was the brainchild of watchmaker Rostislav Dyna from Czech. It was a narrow (800 mm wide) tandem two-seater that, remarkably for the time, could lean into corners. A BSA 500cc 12bhp single-cylinder engine drove the rear wheels by chain at up to 50mph (80 km/h).

Specifications:

  • Curb weight: 170 kg
  • Length: 2155 mm
  • Width: 800 mm
  • Height: 1350 mm
  • Engine: BSA, single-cylinder, 500 cc, 12bhp
  • Maximum speed: 50mph (80 km/h)
