Pocco Meimei
The Chinese company Pocco has unveiled the new model Meimei – a super-compact electric vehicle designed for two people.
The Meimei is 335 mm longer than the Smart ForTwo, but 160 mm narrower and 35 mm lower than its German counterpart. The dimensions of the Chinese hatchback are as follows: 3025x1500x1515 mm. Headlights and taillights are LED.
The electric motor is one, but in two versions. The Pocco can be ordered with 14 or 20 hp. The capacity of the lithium phosphate battery is 9.2 or 14 kWh. The range with the latter is 120 kilometers versus 93 kilometers for Smart ForTwo. MacPherson struts are installed in the front and rear suspension.
The interior is brightly decorated in red or green with chrome inserts and black lacquer. A multimedia touch screen is installed on the front panel, the list of equipment includes a multifunctional steering wheel, parking sensors, air conditioning, a rear view camera, and tire pressure sensors. There is a third door behind a pair of seats that gives access to a small luggage compartment.
